Vintage Beauty

This little beauty is all decked out in some very special dresses that were worn by her mommy when she was little. I love that we were able to capture some images of her wearing them as a special keepsake for her family.

This first shot is my favorite from the session - it has such a serene feel to it. Of course we captured some fun giggly shots too!

A new baby brother!

09. 6.10

This sweet little 6 week old baby boy had the best 'squishy lips' I've ever had the joy of photographing! Just look at how juicy they are! I always recommend that parents have me photograph their newborns within the first week (no more than two weeks) of life....but I have to admit that I did love the uber-chubby-ness of this little guy at 6 weeks! He was so good for me too!

While baby brother was enjoying a little snack, his big sister and I went outside for a few photos of just her. "J" showed me all kinds of fun things on her farm! We even tried to catch a few butterflies :-)

A very special thank you to this great family for inviting me into their home to document this special time in their life.

More family fun!

Would you believe this is another one of my aunties? Yep, she is! We're so close in age that we grew up more like sisters. Conveniently, her kids and mine are the same ages too! I don't know what I would do without this beautiful woman in my life. She has been one of my very best friends for as long as I can remember.....and do we have some silly memories!

Again, it's such a joy and privilege to provide beautiful photos for the people I love!

I had so much fun on my play date with sweet little "L" last week! I just can't get over her big blue eyes and perfectly chubby cheeks! Nine months is such a great age for photos - one of my favorites!

Fab Family!

Not only is this family fabulously beautiful, they are fabulously sweet! I should know, I'm related to them! This is my auntie who used to dress me up in her high heels, curl every strand of my bone-straight hair, and decorate my pre-teen face with make-up galore!

I loved it! My dad.....not so much :-)

I love that years later (we won't discuss how many years exactly) I am able to capture beautiful photographs of her fabulous family together!

If you are interested in working in the Portland market I would be happy to add your site to my soon to be developed resources page on Framing Resource. I am getting pretty consistently 100 to 120 people looking at my site a month. Not huge numbers but they are serious buyers ( which translate into they have disposable income). think about it.

"E" is ONE!

If you've been watching the blog over the past year you've seen sweet little "E" grow from 'baby bump' to now an energetic little walking machine! "E" is ONE! I love that I've been able to capture her at each and every stage of her first year of life! Enjoy the sneak peek!

One HOT Mama-2-be!

If this gorgeous mama-2-be looks a little familiar it's because I photographed her twin sister's maternity photos a few years ago. They are both just stunning and super sweet!

I got to do something new with this session. 'E' wanted some photos with her beautiful horse....who she barrel races when not pregnant (wow, I know)!

Something a little different .....

One of my most recent projects has been very different from my usual type of work....NO PEOPLE! Gasp!

I never thought I would do it ... but I actually kinda liked it!

This home was beautifully constructed by Stone Custom Homes and decorated by Design Interiors for the 2010 Salem Oregon Tour of Homes.

I had such a great time with this gorgeous 2010 high school grad!

The camera absolutely LOVES her! I think her style and personality really shine through in her photos!

One of the highlights of our session was this beautiful police horse. "M" wanted to take him home with her....not so sure he would make a good pet in the college dorms? lol.
