I can hardly believe that I photographed this little man when he was just a few days old! He was HANDS DOWN the easiest newborn I have ever photographed! He slept through his entire session.....never waking when I moved him or even for feedings!
I left his house feeling like the baby whisperer!
So you can imagine how excited I was when "C's" mom contacted me about family photos! Of course at 2 years old "C" wasn't going to sleep through the entire session. In fact, I'm pretty sure he didn't hold still for more than 10 seconds during this session! We had a great time picking grapes we probably weren't suppose to pick, watching airplanes, bunny hunting and acting like pirates!

Thank you so much Heather! I love the pictures more than anything :) I knew they would be perfect! Call me emotional, but they are so cute they made me cry at first sight, and then again when I took a second peek. I can not even believe my little baby could look like such a little man. I just love them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This summer flew by so fast! It's hard to believe that Autumn is already here...but you can definitely feel it in the air!
This beautiful family and I got rained out on Saturday but we made up for it with beautiful weather on Sunday! I've known this couple for a lot of years....long before we all had kids. Now look at them with three handsome boys to complete their family. It was so much fun hanging out with the "L" family and catching up!

Without a doubt, fall is one of the most popular times of year for family portraits. I only have a few spots remaining in 2009 so call soon if you're hoping to squeeze in a session before next year!

The "G" family and I got together yesterday afternoon to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather and changing colors. I really enjoyed my time with this fun-loving family. Their close family connection was a joy to capture!

We have known each other for several years now and in those years I have had the blessing of photographing this family through their darkest and their most joyous times! Their faith and strength shines!

I am absolutely smitten with my newest client!
Baby "I" is just as I imagined she would be .... absolutely STUNNING! I can't get enough of that beautiful dark hair and perfect cheeks!
She was just 5 days old for her first photo session and a dream to work with!
I even got to meet little "I's" very pround grandparents. Congratulations to the WHOLE family!

This adorable family and I had such a great time together! I really enjoyed capturing their fun-loving and easy-going personalities!
Prior to portrait sessions I send out a booking form for my clients to fill out. The booking form has two main purposes: 1) To gather contact information for my own records and 2) It gives you an opportunity to tell me about your family and provide me with some input on how you would like your portrait session to look. This mom gave me some wonderful info. about her adorable children. She told me about their favorite games, colors, characters, etc. She also told me something that really stuck out in my mind - she told me that she wasn't looking for perfection in her portraits so much as personality and joy. I just LOVED that! Throughout our time together I tried to keep that one sentence in mind. I think we captured some real personality and joy! I hope mom and dad agree!
