This adorable family and I had such a great time together! I really enjoyed capturing their fun-loving and easy-going personalities!
Prior to portrait sessions I send out a booking form for my clients to fill out. The booking form has two main purposes: 1) To gather contact information for my own records and 2) It gives you an opportunity to tell me about your family and provide me with some input on how you would like your portrait session to look. This mom gave me some wonderful info. about her adorable children. She told me about their favorite games, colors, characters, etc. She also told me something that really stuck out in my mind - she told me that she wasn't looking for perfection in her portraits so much as personality and joy. I just LOVED that! Throughout our time together I tried to keep that one sentence in mind. I think we captured some real personality and joy! I hope mom and dad agree! Ahhhh.... words cannot describe what an honor and a pleasure it was to photograph these two beautiful babes! They belong to a fellow-photographer and dear friend of mine. Here are just a couple that make me feel all warm and fuzzie inside :-)

I am SO excited to share this session! When a long-time friend of mine contacted me about photographing her family I was thrilled. I immediately began looking for the perfect location...and look at what I found (insert squeal of excitement here)!
Sometimes the stars align: the perfect location, beautiful well-behaved children, great outfits carefully chosen by mom, a warm spring day and ...... MAGIC happens!
